It is not a race or a walk. It is a personal challenge, in which each participant is obliged to comply at all times with the Road Safety Law and the General Traffic Regulations in force in Spain, as well as any other regulations in force along the route planned by the Organizers. Participants are not granted special priority over other road users at any time. Road safety requirements for the event are outlined in Article 7 of these Regulations.<\/p>\n<p>There are no race numbers, but participants&#8217; identification elements will be mandatory for their safety and the smooth running of the event. These elements consist of a sticker for the bicycle and helmet, personal and non-transferable identification for the participant and their bicycle.<\/p>\n<p>There is no official timing, but there are maximum times and schedules for completing the course. There are cut-off times, located at checkpoints and at the refreshment points. These cut-off times are established by the organizers and will be more than sufficient for all participants, regardless of their level, to enjoy the race in the minimum physical condition necessary to tackle these distances with a low elevation.<\/p>\n<p>Participants must respect these cut-off times for their own safety and the safety of the race. Failure to comply with these times means participants may continue on their own without the organizer&#8217;s support or responsibility, or they may choose the shortest or easiest route to return to the start\/finish line. La Organizaci\u00f3n valorara seg\u00fan el n\u00famero de inscritos separar la salida de la distancia larga y corta. La hora m\u00e1xima de llegada, las 15:00<\/p>\n<p>Tras la salida, el grupo rodar\u00e1 a ritmo neutralizado y acompa\u00f1ados por miembros de la organizaci\u00f3n y la Polic\u00eda Local durante los primeros kil\u00f3metros, hasta salir de la zona urbana de Cabo de Palos.<\/p>\n<p>En caso de abandono, hay que comunicarlo lo antes posible al personal de la organizaci\u00f3n, bien en alguno de los puntos de control o bien a trav\u00e9s del n\u00famero de tel\u00e9fono facilitado por la misma.<\/p>\n<p>La organizaci\u00f3n podr\u00e1 suspender la prueba si las condiciones meteorol\u00f3gicas as\u00ed lo aconsejan o por otras causas de fuerza mayor. En este caso, los derechos de inscripci\u00f3n no ser\u00e1n devueltos, postergando la realizaci\u00f3n del evento en la fecha mas cercana posible.<\/p>\n<p>La organizaci\u00f3n dispondr\u00e1 de varios puntos de control , que contar\u00e1n con bebidas y alimentos en las cantidades que se estimen como razonables dado el registro del evento.
