El optimismo no ha sido suficiente. La enorme complejidad de la situación provocada por la pandemia no da lugar a más cábalas ni cálculos. Cada dia, a golpe de comunicados gubernamentales se abren nuevos escenarios que empeoran exponencialmente la situación, hasta tal punto, que a día de hoy, es imposible pensar en fechas, ya no para eventos deportivos, sociales o culturales, sino para la vida misma tal como era antes del 11 de marzo del 2020.
Màs que cuando se pondrá fin a este estado alarma habría que preguntarse, qué plazos y restricciones quedarán en los meses siguientes. Dicho esto, es evidente que la prueba para el 25 de abril del 2020 no será posible organizarla, y toca ser consecuente con el futuro a corto y a medio plazo.. Pero consecuencia de mi carácter luchador y optimista me niego a entregar todo mi trabajo e ilusión pues a los efectos de la pandemia. Dejaremos pasar Abril, Mayo, dejaremos pasar Junio, Julio y también Agosto. En septiembre, el sàbado 26 de septiembre es la fecha que desde la organización se elige para la celebración, de la primera edición del IRON GRAVEL. Quedan 6 meses.
A pesar que el sentir general de la población está siendo de una comprensión máxima somos conscientes que la nueva fecha provocará distintas reacciones en los inscritos. La anulación de la inscripción para aquellos que asi lo deseen, esta abierta tal y como establece en el Reglamento expuesto en la web, Reglamento, previa solicitud en el mail: administracion@irongravel.com
Por el contrario aquellos que continúen, decirles que estos 6 meses de espera no caerán en saco roto, trabajaremos con más tesón si cabe, para mejorar este evento Gravel con el que celebrar la vuelta normalidad.

Optimism hasn’t been enough. The complexity of the situation caused by the pandemic does not allow any more possibilities. Every day official government statements create new scenarios that exponentially do not improve the situation. As of today, it is impossible to consider dates, not only for sporting, social or cultural events, but for life in general as it was before the 11th of March 2020.
In addition to asking ourselves when this state of alarm will end, we should be asking what restrictions will be in place for the upcoming months. Having said this, it is obviously impossible to celebrate the race that was scheduled for the 25th of April. However, because of my tireless and optimistic nature, I refuse to give up all my work and hope to the side effects of the pandemic. Unfortunately, we will have to let April, May, June, July and August go by.
The organization has chosen the 26th of September as the date to celebrate the first edition of the IRON GRAVEL. It is 6 months away.
Although everyone is being very understanding in this situation, we are aware that a new date may provoke different reactions amongst those who have signed up. For those who have registered and would still like to participate, we would like to point out that these 6 months will not be in vain. We will work even harder to improve this Gravel event which will celebrate the return to normality.
