It is a personal challenge, where each participant is obliged to respect at all times the Road Safety Law and the General Traffic Regulations in force in Spain, as well as any other regulations in force along the route planned by the Organisation and there is no special priority at any time with respect to other road users on the itinerary. There is a timekeeping system and cut-off times. These cut-off times, located at the control points, PC, by the Organisation, will be more than sufficient for all participants, with the minimum level required for this type of event and according to mileage, to be able to enjoy the race.

The cut-off times must be respected by the participants for their own safety and the race. In the event of not complying with this schedule, the participant may continue on their own without the support or responsibility of the Organiser, or may choose the shortest or easiest route to return to Alicante. The cut-off times will be published in the Runner’s Dossier published and announced on the official website.

The route is mostly through natural areas of exceptional beauty, so it is everyone’s obligation to preserve the environment, and throwing waste outside the control areas is strictly prohibited.
