These regulations explain and develop the conditions of participation and characteristics of the IG360 event that will take place on the 19th, 20th and 21st of April 2024, in the city of Alicante.

Registration implies acceptance of these regulations and authorisation of the event’s cancellation and modification policy.

Apart from the information in these regulations, all technical aspects can be found on the official website of the event and in the RUNNER’S GUIDE that will be sent to all registered runners.

The proposed format is NON COMPETITIVE. It is not a race, nor a walk. It is a personal challenge, where each participant is obliged to respect at all times the Road Safety Law and the General Traffic Regulations in force in Spain, as well as any other regulations in force along the route planned by the Organization and at no time has special priority over other road users along the route. The road safety to be carried out during the race is described in article 7 of these regulations.

There are no BADGES, but it will be compulsory to wear the participants’ identification elements for their safety and for the smooth running of the event. Stickers for the bicycle and the race bib, personal and non-transferable identification for the participant and his/her bicycle. Each participant will also carry a tracker or geo-locator delivered in the runner’s bag with a deposit of 50 euros, refundable at the end of the event and after the return of the same.

There is a timing system and cut-off times. These cut-off times, placed at the control points, PC, by the Organization, will be more than enough so that all participants, regardless of their level, can enjoy the race with the minimum physical condition necessary to face these distances with a significant slope.
The cut-off times must be respected by the participants for their own safety and for the safety of the race. In the event of not complying with this timetable, the participant may either continue on their own without the support or responsibility of the Organiser, or they may choose the shortest or easiest route back to Alicante. The cut-off times will be published in the Runner’s Dossier published and announced on the official website.

In the case of abandonment due to a breakdown that makes it impossible for the participant to run, the Organization cannot be held responsible for the collection of the participant.

In the case of abandonment or withdrawal, the participant will do so as a priority at one of the control points and informing the organisation of his withdrawal.

Type of BIKE. This event has been designed for Gravel type bicycles due to its route and format. However, the use of any type of bicycle capable of off-road riding is permitted.

The presence of e-bike versions is not contemplated in these regulations. If there is a considerable demand for e-bikes, the organisers will assess and manage their presence.

The itinerary covers mountain terrain, on roads, paths, tracks and some trails; each participant must be fully aware of the length and difficulty of the event, which may take place partly at night, under possible weather conditions of cold, rain, wind. Therefore, he/she must make sure that his/her clothing and physical conditions are the most appropriate for the event.

There is no signposting of the route. The race will be carried out by GPS following a track provided by the organisers. It will be compulsory to follow the itinerary marked by the track. The official and definitive Track will be sent to each participant in the weeks prior to the date of the event. GPS, mobile phone and auxiliary battery are compulsory.

You can and should consult the technical specifications of the event in its three distances, 360,220 and 100 kms as well as the different options of participation in the distance of 360 kms as INDIVIDUAL, COUPLES or TEAM.
For the development of the COUPLES modality, both participants must complete the course together, crossing the checkpoints and the finish line together. If one of the components abandons and the other continues, he/she will not be classified as an individual in any case.

The development of the modality of TEAMS, each of the 3 members of the team runs 1 of the 3 segments in which the track is divided, coinciding with the control points of Orihuela, Pinoso. The relay will be done handing over the tracker to the next participant. The 3 participants will be able to do the last 5 kms of the route together to reach the finish line.
